A new hall for the Verbier Festival In 2010, the Verbier Festival will move into a new hall on a new site with a splendid view of the Combins massif. The Salle des Combins brings considerable improvements in acoustics and comfort for audiences.

Salome, the famous opera by Richard Strauss, comes to Verbier Sunday 1 August promises to be an exceptional evening, with some of the greatest names in opera performing Salome by Richard Strauss, under the baton of Valery Gergiev.

Ticket office opening The Verbier Festival ticket office will open to the general public on 15 March 2010. If you wish to take advantage of advance ticket sales, join the Friends!

Yuja Wang Discovered by the public at the Verbier Festival, Yuja Wang has since established an international career. She makes a welcome return to Verbier for several concerts this summer.
