The Verbier Festival Academy is the Verbier Festival’s respiratory system, the laboratory where future talents are discovered and nurtured. It sets the gold standard for training of emerging soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians, singers and conductors. Nowhere else on the planet is there such a concentration of talent deserving of support each summer. The Academy has been a career launchpad for many of today’s most sought-after musicians and the Festival’s resident professional orchestra—the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra—is made up of Academy alumni who now hold positions with the world’s leading orchestras.
