Champsec to Lourtier
Make your way to the village of Lourtier in the company of musicians from the Verbier Festival Academy. This musical hike follows the 45 minute trail that has become the primary access route for the village's residents. A representative from the Commune of Val de Bagnes will accompany us to provide updates on the situation following last month's torrential mudslides in the region. Due to the recent torrential mudslides that affected the Val de Bagnes at the beginning of July, the villages of Lourtier and Sarreyer are cut off from the rest of the valley. The Verbier Festival wishes to offer a moment of comfort and solidarity by sharing the music of the Festival with these communities, providing moral support and a welcome distraction.
