Rue de Médran

aka UNLTD Avenue

Introducing UNLTD Avenue

Verbier is enhancing the quality of life in its town center. This summer, Rue de Médran is being transformed into a pedestrian-friendly zone, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere from 11 July 11 to 12 August 2024.

This initiative aims to revitalize the heart of Verbier, allowing pedestrians to fully enjoy the space. While ensuring residents and public transport can move freely, transit traffic will be redirected.  During the Verbier Festival, the street will be affectionately known as UNLTD Avenue, where community and culture come together to create an unforgettable experience around the UNLTD Buskers programme.

Access and Traffic Details:

  • For Residents and Public Transport: Unrestricted access to Rue de Médran is guaranteed.
  • Closure Area: The restriction extends from the intersection of Chemin de la Barmète to Place de Médran.
  • Traffic Diversion: Transit traffic will be diverted to Rue de Ransou, which will temporarily support two-way traffic between Place de Médran and Chemin de la Barmète.
  • Delivery Times: Deliveries will be accommodated twice daily at specified times.
