Jinseok Jeong was born in Budapest to a Korean family and began playing the cello at the age of seven. He studied at the Béla Bartók Conservatory and later at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, followed by postgraduate studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid with Jens Peter Maintz. Jinseok has participated in masterclasses with artists including Miklós Perényi, Frans Helmerson, and Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Hungary, Spain, and Korea, and has appeared at international festivals such as Encuentro de Santander and the Budapest Spring Festival. His work explores a broad range of repertoire and places strong emphasis on musical dialogue and collaboration.
