Calling all young artists…

VF KiDS invites all children to create drawings inspired by the enchanted world of Peter and the Wolf, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of this famous musical tale by Prokofiev. Dive into the timeless story of Peter, the wolf, the cat, the bird, and the other characters!

Thirteen drawings will be selected by members of the Verbier Festival’s artistic team and illustrator Marc Philippin. These works will be incorporated into an animated film created by Mr Philippin, then screened during a VF KiDS performance at the Verbier Cinema on 18 July 2026. The 13 winning drawings will also be showcased online here on the Verbier Festival website (verbierfestival.com / vfkids.ch).

Prizes to be won…

• One winning drawing per age category will be selected by the jury, and each winning artist will receive three tickets to the Peter and the Wolf performance on 18 July at the Verbier Cinema (for one child and two guests), as well as a Caran d’Ache colouring pencil set.

• Up to 10 additional drawings will also be selected, across all categories, and their creators will each receive two tickets to the same performance (for one child and one guest).

Winners will be contacted by email no later than 18 February 2026. The selected works will then be unveiled to the public on 19 February at the Verbier Cinema, during a VF KiDS film screening dedicated to Peter and the Wolf, featuring two animated films for the whole family.
