Permanent Staff
The Verbier Festival Foundation is seeking a Sponsorship & Corporate Relations Manager to develop new sponsorship and partnership opportunities, as well as to manage and oversee the Festival’s private sponsors and partners.
We are looking for an individual with solid experience in sponsorship, partnerships, or business development, ideally within the cultural, luxury, or high-end events sectors. Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the successful candidate must be able to thrive in a demanding environment, build lasting relationships of trust with high-level stakeholders, and contribute actively to the Festival’s strategic development.
Perfect proficiency in French and English, a strong sense of organization, discretion, and initiative, as well as adaptability and flexibility, are essential for this role.
Development and Prospecting
- Develop a proactive strategy for seeking new sponsors and partners for the Verbier Festival.
- Identify, target, and prospect new companies and potential partners both in Switzerland and internationally.
- Compile and update qualified prospecting lists.
- Organize initial contact, follow-ups, meetings, and presentations.
- Prepare sponsorship and partnership proposals tailored to the profiles and needs of stakeholders.
- Participate in strategic planning regarding sponsorship development and the structuring of the Festival’s offerings.
- Monitor trends, opportunities, and market practices in cultural sponsorship.
Management and Development of Existing Sponsors
- Manage relationships with the Festival’s sponsors and partners before, during, and after each edition.
- Prepare partnership reports and post-Festival review meetings.
- Negotiate renewals of sponsorship and partnership contracts.
- Identify opportunities for the development or evolution of existing collaborations.
- Ensure consistency and equity across different sponsorship offers while tailoring proposals to the specific needs of partners.
- Prepare sponsorship and partnership contracts for each edition.
- Establish and update benefit tables according to partnership levels.
Operational Coordination and Hospitality
- Coordinate the implementation of contractual commitments related to sponsors and partners.
- Ensure compliance with contractually sold rights.
- Oversee logo placement, approvals before printing, and deadlines for submitting advertising materials.
- Coordinate the distribution and management of tickets and invitations.
- Organize the reception of sponsors and partners during the Festival.
- Coordinate the organization of sponsor events and evenings at the Hospitality Village (catering, logistics, VIP parking, tickets, reception, etc.).
- Prepare and update the Hospitality Village Guide.
- Ensure the smooth running of sponsor and partner events during the Festival.
Administration
- Regularly update the CRM regarding sponsors and partners.
Profile and Skills
- University or Higher Education degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Switzerland and/or internationally in a similar role, ideally in sponsorship, partnerships, culture, luxury, or events.
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in IT tools (Excel, Google Sheets, CRM, planning tools, etc.).
- Experience in project management, partnership development, and negotiation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in communicating with high-level stakeholders.
- Sense of initiative, autonomy, perseverance, and flexibility.
- Ability to manage priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interest in the cultural world and alignment with the values of the Verbier Festival.
- Perfect proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
