The Verbier Festival’s Orchestra Training Programmes have become a rite of passage for today’s most exceptional young orchestral musicians and conductors. The Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Festival’s worldwide ambassador, brings together outstanding alumni of these programmes who now perform with some of the world’s leading ensembles.
These programmes bring together the Verbier Festival Orchestra (VFO), the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra (VFJO) and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra (VFCO).
The 2026 auditions give young musicians access to high-level orchestral training, while the Conducting Programme offers emerging conductors a genuine springboard towards leading international orchestras.
