At the heart of the Verbier Festival, the orchestras bring together exceptional young musicians and internationally renowned artists, offering an extraordinary environment in which to learn, perform and grow.
The Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra (VFJO) and Verbier Festival Orchestra (VFO) give young instrumentalists an immersive experience of professional orchestral life. Through intensive rehearsals and performances, they work alongside leading conductors, soloists and orchestral musicians, developing the artistic and professional skills essential to a career in an orchestra.
The Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra (VFCO) is the Festival’s professional chamber orchestra. Composed largely of VFO alumni, it brings together musicians whose relationship with the Verbier Festival has developed over many years, performing in Verbier and on international stages.
