WHAT IS UNLTD?
UNLTD is Unlimited Music: music without borders, with curiosity as its only guide. It’s where repertoires collide, artists experiment and music connects with other disciplines and new ideas.
Concerts, new creations, immersive experiences, encounters or outdoor adventures: UNLTD invites you to listen differently, discover the unexpected and share music.

ACADEMY × UNLTD
How do tomorrow’s artists imagine their profession?
The Academy supports young artists in developing their practice. UNLTD offers them another field of experimentation: a space to imagine projects, cross disciplines, explore new forms, and meet audiences.
Over the years, this collaboration has taken different forms — Creative Project Development residencies, UNLTD Collective projects, stage experiences with the Atelier Lyrique, or working in professional conditions for participants in the Audio Recording programme.
From idea to stage, from concert to recording, Academy × UNLTD allows young artists to experiment with other ways of creating, collaborating, and sharing music.
CREATIVE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
FIRST LISTEN
SOFÍA ROS
A 2026 Creative Project Development resident at the Academy, accordionist Sofía Ros conceived First Listen as her own artistic laboratory: a project developed with mentors, then experimented with Academy musicians before meeting the public at UNLTD.
From Spain to South America, via Scotland and Denmark, she brings repertoire, musical traditions, and new collaborations into dialogue around her instrument.
ATELIER LYRIQUE
MARILYN: SOME LIKE IT HOT
For one evening, the singers of the Atelier Lyrique leave opera and recital behind to enter the world of Marilyn Monroe. Songs, cabaret, chamber music, and storytelling blend in a show imagined with the Fibonacci Quartet, Sofía Ros on accordion, and James Baillieu on piano.
An opportunity to play with codes, explore a different stage presence, and above all show another side of these young artists.
AUDIO RECORDING
LIVE FROM UNLTD
Participants in the Academy’s Audio Recording programme work alongside the professional teams capturing the Verbier Festival. At UNLTD, they gain hands-on experience of live recording, from concert to sound delivered to the public.

UNLTD COLLECTIVE
The UNLTD Collective brings together alumni of the Verbier Festival Academy, invited to reunite to imagine, develop, and bring to life new artistic projects. These collaborations allow artists to step outside traditional formats and explore new ideas together. Among them, Pastoral 21, a project created with composer Gabriel Prokofiev around Pastoral Reflections, a work commissioned by the Academy and UNLTD, then presented in Verbier and on tour.
