Vincenzo Calcagno studies viola at The Juilliard School with Heidi Castleman and Misha Amory, supported by the Irene Diamond and E & J Brenner Scholarships. He previously trained with Helen Callus. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has appeared in recital with guitar, performing works by Schubert, Piazzolla, and Fauré, and served as principal violist in Juilliard’s performance of Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht. His ensemble, the Eiffel Quartet, has performed in the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s Master Class Series with the Calidore Quartet and appeared at Carnegie Hall in ‘A Celebration of Meredith Monk.’ Vincenzo has participated in the Taos School of Music, the Perlman Music Program, and the Music Academy of the West, where he studied intensively with the Takács Quartet.
