British bass-baritone Ossian Huskinson was named Young Talent of the Year (2022/23) by the Critics’ Circle. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Mark Wildman and Iain Ledingham, supported by an ABRSM Scholarship. Ossian recently made notable debuts as Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) with Garsington Opera, and as Angelotti (Tosca) at English National Opera. He joined the Jette Parker Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House in 2024, where his roles during the 2024/25 season include performances in La Traviata, Tosca, Faust, and Turandot. Ossian has also performed at the Edinburgh International Festival and Wigmore Hall. He is a winner of the Clonter Opera Prize and a Samling Artist.
