Biography
Roa Lee is a South Korean violinist currently studying at Kronberg Academy. She was previously admitted with the highest distinction to the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts and later studied at the Curtis Institute of Music. She has worked closely with Gidon Kremer and Christian Tetzlaff, and performed at major festivals including the Ravinia Festival, Marlboro Music, Krzyżowa Music, and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival. A laureate of the Irving M. Klein International String Competition, she also participated in the 2023 Seiji Ozawa International Academy. Roa plays a 1705 violin by Carlo Antonio Testore, generously loaned by the Kumho Foundation.
