Biography

Haozheng Niu, born in Beijing in 2011, studies cello with Yu Mingqing at the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2023, he was admitted to the Qingdao Yehudi Menuhin School with a full scholarship and subsequently received the Outstanding Performance Scholarship in both 2024 and 2025. He has given three solo recitals and has appeared in concerts and charity performances. In 2024, he performed for the Austrian Deputy Ambassador to China and senior diplomatic representatives. In 2025, he took part in the chamber performance Hearing Qingdao, a charity concert marking White Cane Safety Day. Niu Haozheng has received prizes in domestic and international competitions, including Second Prize in the 25th Osaka Music Festival (String J Group, 2024), and was awarded a full scholarship to Music Bridge in 2025.
