25 March 2025 – Vevey (Switzerland) – The Verbier Festival is honoring the legendary pianist Menahem Pressler with a special tribute album, released under its prestigious Verbier Festival Gold label, in collaboration with Deutsche Grammophon. Since 2022, the Verbier Festival has released a collection of 30 albums, offering a treasure of rare recordings from its archives.

Menahem Pressler spent 10 consecutive summers in Verbier from 2008 and was a beloved source of inspiration at the Verbier Festival, captivating audiences and mentoring young artists.  At 90 years old, Pressler conveys his deep love for music—and for life itself—with unparalleled grace through Chopin and Debussy. “If you want your life to be rich, love sincerely,” he whispers through every note he plays. His touch at the piano, still breathtakingly beautiful, is a testament to his lifelong devotion to art.

Menahem Pressler in Verbier features a selection of works by Chopin, Debussy, and Schumann, brought to life alongside celebrated fellow musicians, including violinist Salvatore Accardo, cellist Gautier Capuçon, and violist Antoine Tamestit.
Menahem Pressler in Verbier, is now available on all streaming platforms.
