NEW VERBIER FESTIVAL GOLD ALBUM : RENAUD CAPUÇON IN VERBIER

Discover the album

28 August 2025 – Vevey (Switzerland) – Since his first appearance in 1995, the Verbier Festival has practically been a second home for the beloved French violinist Renaud Capuçon. Beyond offering a venue for the performance of well-known masterpieces, the alpine stages have also offered a “laboratory” of sorts for experimentation with repertoire that most would consider to be off the beaten path.

Beyond the spectacular opening tracks (a scintillating Beethoven Violin Sonata No. 8 in G Major Sonata with Martha Argerich), “Renaud Capuçon in Verbier” continues with works by Karl Hartmann, Max Bruch (featuring Mr. Capuçon’s recording debut as a viola soloist), and Eugène Ysaÿe (where he is joined by fellow superstar Joshua Bell).

Renaud Capuçon in Verbier is available on Apple Music Classical and on all streaming platforms.
