20 February 2026 – Verbier (Switzerland) – To mark the twentieth anniversary of the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Verbier Festival releases a new album – under its prestigious joint label VF Gold, in collaboration with Deutsche Grammophon – highlighting celebrated conductors who have led the orchestra over the years.
The Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra (VFCO), founded in 2006, is a key chamber orchestra and global ambassador of the Verbier Festival, touring in major concert halls and festivals worldwide. Comprised of elite alumni of the Verbier Festival Orchestra, its members hold positions in top international ensembles including the Berlin, Vienna, Israel Philharmonics, Royal Concertgebouw, or London Symphony Orchestra…
Led by Music Director Gábor Takács-Nagy, VFCO collaborates with renowned soloists such as Martha Argerich, Yuja Wang, András Schiff, Joshua Bell, Daniil Trifonov, or Gautier Capuçon and many more.
This anniversary album features VFCO under the baton of major conductors including Sir Simon Rattle, Antonio Pappano, Maxim Vengerov, Kent Nagano, Michael Tilson Thomas, András Schiff and Gábor Takács-Nagy.
