Biography
Cellists Leonard Disselhorst and Bryan Cheng formed the duo CelloFellos in 2020, united by a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of classical music. Following years of international experience as soloists and chamber musicians, they now explore a bold and colourful sound world together as a duo. Their programme Global Grooves features original arrangements that blend genres—from Romanian folk dances and Argentinian tango to ragtime, swing, and contemporary pop. With flair, virtuosity, and spontaneity, the CelloFellos create a musical journey that is as diverse as it is exhilarating.
The duo has appeared at leading festivals such as Heidelberger Frühling, Beethovenfest Bonn, and Lavaux Classic (Switzerland), and in venues including the Tonali Saal in Hamburg and the Kammermusiksaal of the Berlin Philharmonie.
