Fibonacci Quartet
The Fibonacci Quartet is one of Europe’s leading young string quartets. They are the only ensemble ever to win both First Prize and the Audience Prize at the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition.
Recent distinctions include the prestigious Merito String Quartet Award, which will be presented at the Konzerthaus in Vienna. The quartet performs regularly in major European concert halls such as the Vienna Musikverein, Berlin Philharmonie, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Frankfurt Alte Oper, London Wigmore Hall and Munich Prinzregententheater, as well as the Philharmonie de Paris.
They have also appeared at leading festivals including the Edinburgh International Festival and Heidelberger Frühling.
Alongside their performing career, the quartet serve as Quartet in Residence at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff and are Nina Drucker Fellows at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since 2024 they have been represented by Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT).
