Biography

Trio Concept was founded in Turin in 2013 and brings together violinist Edoardo Grieco, cellist Francesco Massimino, and pianist Lorenzo Nguyen. Already internationally active when they joined the Verbier Festival Academy in 2024, the trio has continued to build a strong international profile. Since being named laureates of the Prix Yves Paternot, the trio is now firmly established on Europe’s major concert circuit. In the 2025/26 season, Trio Concept appears as ECHO Rising Stars, undertaking an extensive European tour with performances at leading venues including the Philharmonie Luxembourg, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Barbican Centre, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Musikverein Vienna, Wigmore Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, Tonhalle Zürich, Bozar Brussels, and Palau de la Música Catalana, alongside appearances at major festivals including the Verbier Festival.
