The Press and Communications category includes volunteers who help promote the Verbier Festival in Switzerland and internationally. From press relations to social media, from images to words, they actively contribute to telling, documenting, and sharing the identity and energy of the Festival across all platforms.

Support to the Press Coordinator

Every summer, the Verbier Festival hosts journalists from around the world. Volunteers work closely with the Press Coordinator to assist journalists during their visits, whether providing directions or distributing tickets. Each day, they carry out a press review of articles published during the Festival and update the daily press clippings.

BENEFITS: You will gain insight into the operations of a press office at an international cultural event and will be in close contact with journalists, artists, press officers, and members of the press coordination team.

PROFILE: You have studied, or plan to study, communication or journalism and have an interest in classical music. You are meticulous and comfortable in a diverse cultural environment. You are professional, efficient, flexible, and possess strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Commitment for the entire Festival is highly appreciated and considered an asset during the selection process. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly French, English, and Italian, is an advantage.

Volunteer Graphic Designer

The volunteer graphic designer contributes to the visual communication of the Verbier Festival’s message, supporting the Festival’s brand and identity to remain consistent and appealing across all platforms.
