The young Mao Fujita joined by the experienced Leonidas Kavakos, Antoine Tamestit, and Gautier Capuçon—that’s what makes this fifth Rencontres Inédites programme so exciting. At its heart is Brahms’s monumental Second Piano Quartet, following a first half featuring Beethoven’s String Trio No. 3 in G major, Op. 9 No. 1. Don’t wait—only a few seats remain!

Brahms’s Sextet No. 1, Op. 18, often called the Spring Sextet, captivates with its stylistic perfection. Following this, Verklärte Nacht reveals the brilliance of a young Schoenberg, announcing his creative genius at just 25. An exceptional lineup of violinists, violists, and cellists brings these works to life!

Martin Fröst and Lahav Shani invite their talented friends for a deeply expressive program, featuring Brahms’ Sonatas for Clarinet and Piano, Poulenc’s Rapsodie nègre, and Prokofiev’s Overture on Jewish Themes. This special performance marks Lahav Shani’s only appearance in Verbier this summer—an unmissable opportunity to see the acclaimed pianist and conductor away from the podium, where he regularly leads his orchestras in Rotterdam, Munich and Tel Aviv.
