VF KiDS invites families to a special animated film double bill celebrating storytelling, music and imagination on screen.
The programme opens with Peter and the Wolf, the Oscar®-winning stop-motion film directed by Suzie Templeton. Told entirely without dialogue, the film transforms Sergei Prokofiev’s famous tale into a vivid story of courage and mischief, as a fearless boy, his animal companions and a menacing wolf cross paths in a snowy village.
The screening continues with The Magic Piano, a visually rich 3D animated adventure following two children who discover an old piano that turns into a flying machine. Swept into the air, they travel across Europe on an unexpected journey filled with obstacles, wonder and discovery. The film is set to the music of Frédéric Chopin, performed on the soundtrack by Lang Lang, weaving classical music seamlessly into the story.
Accessible to children of all ages and languages, both films offer a shared cinema experience for families, where music and images do the storytelling.
