Kian Soltani
Kian Soltani is an Austrian cellist of Persian descent, born in Bregenz, described by the New York Times as 'remarkable' and by Gramophone as 'pure perfection'. Winner of the Paulo International Cello Competition in Helsinki in 2013, he is a scholarship holder of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation and collaborates with leading musicians and conductors such as Daniel Barenboim. He performs regularly at the Verbier Festival and plays the Antonio Stradivari cello known as the 'London, ex-Boccherini'.
