The Upper Valais Youth Choir brings together experienced singers from the Singschule Oberwallis, who have been singing together for many years, and newcomers discovering the world of singing, all within a creative ensemble.
The choir is not only dedicated to the current choral repertoire for young people but also explores lesser-known musical universes with renewed energy. Sylviane Bourban and Federica Napoletani regularly sing and rehearse with the young choristers, aged 16 to 25. This regional choir, which gathers adolescents and young adults from across Upper Valais, performs a varied repertoire ranging from folk songs to gospel, including projects accompanied by a band.
Our joy of life and energy, reflected in the choir, have made it a place for cultural and friendly encounters—an atmosphere felt both during rehearsals and on stage.
