Pierluigi Christophe Orunesu
Pierluigi Orunesu is an Italian-Swiss entrepreneur. He is notably the founder of Cybel’Art, a company that developed a digital and holographic protocol known as the icologram. His company has collaborated with various artists.
In 2025, Orunesu’s company, Cybel’Art, developed and launched Virtual Hall, a virtual reality application designed for symphonic concerts and owned by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. This platform allows users to watch concerts from different viewpoints on stage thanks to an immersive 360° video. Orunesu is recognised as the architect and inventor of this technology, which integrates a multi-camera system and synchronised audiovisual processing. Virtual Hall was presented for the first time at Artgenève 2025.
