Dorothea Röschmann

German soprano Dorothea Röschmann is internationally celebrated for her interpretations of Mozart, Strauss and Wagner, and has appeared on the world’s foremost opera and concert stages. Named Kammersängerin by the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin in 2017, she has performed more than 20 roles with the company. A regular guest at the Salzburg Festival since 1995, she has also appeared at the Vienna State Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro alla Scala and the Metropolitan Opera. In concert, she has collaborated with conductors including Daniel Barenboim, Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Harding and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. An acclaimed recitalist, she has received numerous recording honours, including a GRAMMY Award.
