Biography

Carine Suparman is a violinist and music scholarship holder at St Andrew’s Cathedral School in Sydney, Australia. She began studying the violin at the age of five using the Suzuki method. Carine has received prizes at several international competitions, including the Ysaye International Violin Competition (2025), the International Violin Competition Kloster Schöntal (2024), the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition (2023), and the Leonid Kogan International Competition (2021). In 2024, she attended the Swiss International Music Academy (SIMA) on scholarship. One of her notable performance experiences included participating in a virtual charity concert during the COVID-19 pandemic, performing alongside musicians from 29 countries under the direction of Shlomo Mintz, in support of UN Refugees. In addition to her musical studies, Carine’s interests include drawing, reading, and connecting with new friends through music.
