Day one is all about discovery. Children are introduced to the characters and story of L’Enfant et les Sortilèges—a fantastical opera by Maurice Ravel and Colette that blends humour, emotion, and magic. Through storytelling and listening, the children imagine this dream-like world and reflect on themes like emotion, transformation, and empathy. It’s the spark that ignites a week of creativity and collaboration.
