NUIT COUCOU: LE PEUPLE LUMIÈRE

As twilight falls over Verbier, magical figures begin to appear—luminous beings drawn from the legends of the Alps. Known as the Peuple Lumière, these glowing creatures channel the spirit of animals like the fox, ibex, owl, and stag. They are guardians of stories, wisdom, and wonder, returning to walk among us when hearts are open and celebration is near.

Created by Compagnie Zappar, Apparitions du Peuple Lumière – Transhumance offers a moment of enchantment for all ages, combining movement, light, music, and storytelling in a uniquely atmospheric encounter. This special appearance marks the start of Nuit Coucou, VF Kids’ magical evening to celebrate Swiss National Day.

Watch for the Peuple Lumière as they emerge from the mountain forests and arrive at Place de Jeux, where their presence invites us to slow down, listen, and step into a world of imagination.
