Led by Alexis Milligan — an actor, movement director and creator of Theatre of Medicine, a programme that brings performing arts practices into healthcare training — the session explores how cultural experience can play a role in care.

Drawing on her work with institutions including the Shaw Festival and the Royal Shakespeare Company, Milligan shares how techniques from performance — presence, listening, physical awareness — are being used to strengthen human connection in medical contexts.

The session opens with a musical moment, before moving into an interactive format inviting the audience to take part in a guided activity. Without slides or formal presentation, the conversation unfolds through experience, exchange and reflection.

A Q&A concludes the session. Participants are invited to continue the discussion over a post-event apéritif at La Table Verbier, just steps from the Hameau Forum, next to the Esserts pistes.

The session is led in English with simultaneous translation into French.
